to start off this morning, i have to say that i am so thankful that i have a loving, and healthy family. as i was browsing blogs this morning, i came upon this tragic story. it just made me so sad inside, reading this families blog posts and then, suddenly, tragedy. it really made me think and remember that old saying to remember to say "i love you" and tell the people you care about how you feel about them. anyway, please check out the nie,nie blog in the link above, and help if you can or just send some prayers their way.
speaking of telling those you care about how you feel....
i love you guys!
last night we had our "family" over for dinner...my mama (in the red) was a nanny for years. the kids and their mom are still like part of our family. the little one even calls my parents grama and grampa. hugh is going to boarding school and andrea is off to boulder to go to college! katie is already back at USC and we get to keep abigail for a few more years! we will miss them alot. it really makes my heart happy to have this "extended" family. every time we get together, which is fairly often, i can be assured that it will be a time of laughs, jokes and funny stories.
andrea and elijah...
crazy frog makes elijah laugh hysterically..
spidey and his sidekick, big jim...
ok, not the best picture of me, but i have to admit, it IS pretty funny how we just happened to get antlers perfectly placed on top of our heads...
so, did anyone try the challenge? if you did, don't forget to post a comment with a link so i can see it!
jes, i hope you are feeling better!

Hey! First time to this site- found you through Jes's blog. I guess I'm probably too late to enter the giveaway, and I'm only #5, but I still think you should have it! :) I'm doing a giveaway on my site too (you should enter! ;) and know its frustrating to get people to leave comments to actually have a substantial drawing pool! Good luck with the Etsy shop- I'll check you out!
