so, it is now sunday evening and i feel as if there was no weekend!!! not that i did not enjoy myself, just very busy...
friday was a stressful day. i took my girls to their dad's house in tahoe. britt's friend came along too. she has been in our prayers all week long...her grandma, who she lives with, found out she has ovarian and colon cancer last week and had surgery on friday afternoon. they are the loveliest people and my heart goes out to them...please keep them in your prayers as well, while her grandma recovers and deals with this horrible disease...
saturday, we tried to get a little more christmas decor done, but had to stop early to go cook for saturday night service at church. chili, cheese and bread, if you were wondering... the service this week seriously rocked. our youth band did the music for the adult service and they really gave us a great time! they are such an awesome group of kids. it is so cool to watch them mature and see what they become. i know they will all do great things!
and now, it is sunday, 5:41pm...i am sitting in my little closet, i mean office, tap-tapping away just to get away from the large mass of boxes, bubble wrap, styrofoam and plastic that house my winter wonderland, and have taken over my living room as well as my bedroom. well, no rest for the weary; or something like that, i think?
