this past month (or more!) has been pretty busy and crazy...as usual.
i would like to first start off by expressing my saddness at the passing of a beautiful, young lady...Molly Lahlum. my girls went to elementary school with her in tahoe and this year, my oldest was in high school with her in gardnerville. they had just recently re-connected and become friends again. Molly had an undiagnosed heart problem and had a heart attack during a swim meet about 2 weeks ago. she had been in the pediatric ICU in reno. on thursday morning, she had another heart attack and passed away peacefully. Molly's mother, Mary, is a wonderful person whom i have also known throughout the years from tahoe. sadly, we had lost touch through the years, but have vowed to stay in touch better in the future. i cannot imagine what it would be like to lose a child so suddenly and my heart and prayers are going out to the family during this tragic time.in light of this horrible tragedy, it has made me even more greatful for the wonderful memories we make each day with our family and friends.
and now for some self torture...i am trying out the video blog thing, so let me know what you think...
argh! this is so embarrassing!
